In-Town Gallery Presents Wearable Art Trunk Show Friday

There will be a Wearable Art Trunk Show of fiber art and fine jewelry on Friday from 5-8 p.m. as part of Tennessee Craft Week at In-town Gallery, 26A Frazier Ave. in Chattanooga. 

"Models wearing elegant fine jewelry, soft handwoven wraps and colorful hand dyed silk scarves and garments will circulate the gallery, showing the best ways to combine art clothing and one-of-a-kind jewelry," officials said.   

The Wearable Art Trunk Show will feature the work of craft artists Traci Paden (hand dyed silk garments and scarves), Irene Catlin (handwoven wraps and shawls), and fine jewelry artists Eleanor Goodson, Marian Kern, Barbara Murnan and Carol Ott.

Other craft artists will present everything from holiday ornaments and pottery soup tureens to hand-turned woodwork and award-winning glass pieces.

  Special informational talks and demos are also planned.

Cliftina Jones Charged In Death Of Orange Grove Center Client, Whose Body Was Found In Van

A Chattanooga woman has been charged in the death of an Orange Grove Center client whose body was found April 18 at an Orange Grove residence. Cliftina K.
