After being mauled for five straight games, the Lookouts went to work in the first three innings scoring six of the seven runs in the 7-4 win at Montgomery last night.

Chattanooga remains in a tie for first place with Jackson in the Southern League North Division with only eight games to be played in the first half.

The Lookouts outhit the home team 11-to-7 with each team committing one error.

Catcher Brian Navarreto had a big night, going 3-for-4 with a couple of doubles and two RBIs. He now has 11 doubles on the season, which is just two shy of his career high.

In the third inning James Ramsey clouted a two run homer and Tanner English singled in Navarreto for the 6-0 lead.

Chattanooga had a 7-1 lead heading into the ninth when Montgomery would make a short run, but Tyler Jay surrendered three runs, two of which were earned.
