Hundreds of runners and walkers took part in the June 9 Cleveland Recycles 5K and one mile walk.

It was the fourth annual Cleveland Recycles. The race along Cleveland’s historic downtown streets promotes recycling and a litter-free city. The “fee” for entering the event was five recyclable items.

The Saturday morning race attracted people of all ages. Top men and women runners in each age group received trophies. All finishers received medallions and tee shirts.

The overall winners of the men’s and women’s divisions were Ashley Fugate and Chad Dean.

Voters May Decide In November On Whether To Eliminate City Court; Paving Fund Also Considered
