Bradley County Schools Releases Supply Lists For Upcoming Year

Here are the Bradley County School supply lists for the upcoming year:

Elementary School:

Backpack (without wheels)
#2 pencils (2 packs) Ticonderoga
2 red Pens
24 count Crayola Crayons
Safety Scissors
Glue Sticks
Liquid Glue
Pack of Cap Erasers (upper grades)
Large Pink Erasers (lower grades)
Wide-Ruled Loose Leaf Paper (2 packs) (upper grades)
1st grade – 5/8” ruling writing paper tablet
2nd grade – 1.5” ruling writing pad
Folders with pockets (4) multi-colored
Spiral notebooks, wide-ruled
Pencil Pouch

SMMHS German Exchange Students Arrive In Chattanooga Sunday

County Schools Delay Start 1 Hour Due To Flooding; Numerous Roads Flooded Or Experiencing Standing Water

Hamilton County Schools delayed the start of school one hour on Wednesday due to heavy rains overnight that flooded some roads in the area.  Public safety officials are reporting several trees across roads which may cause some buses to be rerouted.  The one extra hour will provide daylight to make the trip to school safer for buses and young student drivers, officials ... Judge Denies New Trial For Unjolee Moore In 2010 Murder

Criminal Court Judge Don Poole has denied a new trial for a man convicted of a 2010 murder. Unjolee Moore, at a recent hearing, claimed that he made a confession after being beaten by a detective and held for over 13 hours while handcuffed behind his back.
