Dec. 1-17
The Chattanooga Zoo will present its annual holiday event, Holiday Lights, on Dec. 1-3, 8-10, and 15-17, from 5:30-8 p.m. For the price of regular Zoo admission (Zoo Members receive 50 percent off), families are welcome to come and enjoy all that the Chattanooga Zoo’s Holiday Lights event has to offer. Besides the lights, guests may decorate and enjoy cookies, visit and get a photo made with Santa, watch animals open their gifts and more, All activities are included in Holiday Lights admission, excluding photos with Santa. Dec. 14-15
The Roueché Chorale and Orchestra will present the Chattanooga Candlelight Service of Lessons and Carols on Thursday and Friday, Dec. 14 and 15, at 7 p.m., at Christ United Methodist Church, 8645 East Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37421. Admission is free. More information is available by calling 423.855.2981, or on the website: therouechechorale.org Also on Facebook at The Roueché Chorale.

Dec. 23
Christmas at Urban Grind Cafe, 2193 Park Dr. 386-5330. 8:30 p.m.-1: a.m. Cost is $10. Christmas gift drawings every 1/2 hour from 9 p.m.-12 a.m. Food and drink specials. 21+ to enter.  Business casual attire.

Dec. 31
The Hunter Museum New Year’s Eve: Party on the Bluff. SoundForce Entertainment will transform the museum’s atrium and tented terrace into a two-level dance club with a live DJ, nightclub lighting, music videos, and décor. All revelers will enjoy a full open bar until 1 a.m., heavy hors d’oeuvres by Events with Taste, a midnight champagne toast and balloon drop, and views of the city.  Doors open at 9 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 31, with VIP access beginning at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $150/individual; $280/couple and are available now at http://www.huntermuseum.org/events/ nye-partyonthebluff-2017. Jan. 11
The Allied Arts Council of the Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce will host the sounds of the world famous Glenn Miller Orchestra at the Silver Celebration gala honoring 25 years of the Arts on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018, at the Cleveland Country Club. Festivities kick-off at 6:30 p.m. with a reception followed by dinner, dancing and music.
